- was watching this oh so wonderful video titled
"How Intelligence Agencies Capture Everything 7-15-2024"
https://old.bitchute.com/video/COzoWck9ntsn/
And then VPN crashed 5 min in and has not been available since.
Since I've updated, uninstalled VPN and reinstalled VPN to no avail with standalone VPN client allowing any connection.
Updated to
Opera One(version: 112.0.5197.30)

VPNPro
2.0.19.444Here's what I tried in addition to uninstall-reinstall.
after adding VPNPro path to "PATH" still no luck,
although noticing now a sym link is now also created via PATH
"C:\Users\owner\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps"C:\Users\owner>set path
Path=C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Shared Libraries\redist\intel64\compiler;C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\WINDOWS\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0;C:\WINDOWS\System32\OpenSSH;C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\VPNPro;C:\Users\owner\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps;
PATHEXT=.COM;.EXE;.BAT;.CMD;.VBS;.VBE;.JS;.JSE;.WSF;.WSH;.MSCChecking this sym link -
C:\Users\owner\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps
routes to
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\VPNPro
where empty 0KB exe's are located, winuifresco.exe, mediaplayer.exe, etc. Does not see to be expected.While going direct to 'C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\VPNPro' path in file explorer I can now see a 'Opera VPN Pro UI' shortcut which now makes sense.
the earlier sym link seems a mirrored copy of
'C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\VPNPro'.
Does not seem expected.
Opera.Vpnpro.UI.exe seems to execute fine from cmd. Selecting 'Connect" via VPNPro client (via sys tray) does nothing -

@leocg
seems resetting DNS assignment to DHCP cleared this.
States on the device:
"The DNS settings for all Wifi networks have been set. (??) The settings below won't be used." (per DHCP or manual).
not sure why that is...
Anyway Mortimer back in business... for nows...
