Cannot Open Opera

Uninstalled and re-installed OPERA and keep on getting error. The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) Click to close the application,

Page then does not load.
Any view on what I should do.

It sounds frustrating. Have you tried checking for updates or reinstalling with administrator privileges? Sometimes antivirus or firewall settings can also interfere—adjusting those might help.
