Opera is not saving my new bookmarks layout

Hello, I had the same problem and I uninstalled my Avast Premium Security and after that everything worked fine again. But it can't be the case that you have to remove all paid programs like Avast AVG etc. just so that Opera works properly. That's because of Opera, I hope they change that with the next update, otherwise I'll unfortunately have to uninstall Opera. I've been using Opera since 2015 and nothing like this has ever happened before.

Hello, the problem suddenly disappeared like a miracle. Opera is running again with Avast Premium and without an update from Opera. Thank God.

It works again for me, I tested everything, save speed dial, rename or delete. After starting Opera everything is still the way I set it. Is it not working for them? That's strange.

@kubzik Same here. I change a URL on a Speed Dial entry, shut off Opera, restart Opera and the change is gone. If I add a new bookmark anywhere, shut down Opera, restart Opera, the new bookmark is gone.
I am not signed in and Sync is turned off.
I do use Avast. I do not use Avast Premium.I tried turning off Avast, make a change to a bookmark, turn off Opera, restart Opera, and the change is gone.

If you still have this problem, there is only one way to get rid of it at the moment, you have to use the antivirus protection, for example. Uninstall Avast, AVG etc. completely and hope that Opera fixes the problem with the next update.

So my Avast just had a new update or something and now it seems like everything is working okay again.

Normally it should now work again for everyone because Opera released a new update today: Opera One (version: 112.0.5197.24)
