Shortcut for homepage

Would really like to be able to set a "homepage"
- and have a kb shortcut for that as well.
- and an icon placeable on the address line.
There are days I am involved in a project and need a specific site to come up when I go "home".
I do it now by putting it top left on speed dial, but that is an extra click or three.

You can install Home Button at Top Right. Just pin its icon, right-click it, goto "options" and set your homepage.

You can install New Tab Start Page and set the page you want in its options. Then, when you click the + button on the tab bar (or use ctrl + t) to open a new tab, the new tab will be your home page.

@burnout426 thanks for those two. "home button top right" doesn't seem to work with local files (what I need).
The second one is pretty nifty.

I made a modified version here that supports local files. For example, you can set the homepage URL to
file:///C:/Users/yourusername/Desktop/home.html.Download the zip file, extract it, goto the URL
opera://extensions, turn on developer mode, click "load unpacked" and point it to the extracted folder where manifest.json is at. Then, atopera://extensions, click "details" for the extension and make sure "Allow access to file URLs" is enabled. It should be enabled by default. -
