YouTube freezing

YouTube keeps freezing with a screen notice saying Opera has run out of memory, try re-loading page. It is then very jerky and freezes, much like the 1980's "buffering". It does not happen with firefox or chrome.

The out-of-memory issue on Youtube in Opera GX is known and being investigated by Opera.

This solution worked for me :
Go to opera://flags/ then search for " Choose Angle graphics backend", then chose "D3D9" -

Opera runs up to 2.4gig of memory as indicated by task manager, then freezes
