Sidebar for YouTube™

Stops after around 30 seconds. Browsing in the background, and leaving the sidebar stops the add-on. Clicking on it again refreshes the add-on, losing your current video, and puts you back to the main page.
I assume this is because youtube monitors really hard whether or not you actively using the page, and if not, it just disconnect you.
But as it is right now, this add-on is rather useless.If someone has a workaround, please share it

To other people with this problem:
How to add YouTube to the sidebar in Opera:
Go to opera://flags/#sidebar-site-panel and set it to enabled. Restart the browser for the change to take effect. Open the side panel, click on setting, scroll all the way down where it says custom site panels, press add (+), and type in youtube.com. -

It does work correctly and I like the new color but the built-in adblocker isn't working. I'm still keeping it but please fix the built-in adblocker.

@robloxgabriel1: YouTube prohibit the use of ad-blockers now. Using them might/will get you banned and addons using it will be taken down.

It works for a couple of minutes and then it closes, disappointing, I'll uninstall it./erase
Why does it close? Well, i dont know, a video is playing and when I go to WhatsApp or another app that I have in the sidebar and then it closes.
I wish you would fix it although I am very close to uninstalling this browser.

well this is disappointing, I just installed the extension and within 30 secs it closed tried shutting down everything and restarted computer and it still closes for no reason....
any clues or do i just need to use YouTube page??? -

Bro i used it and it says www.youtube.com is blocked Bruh nah will you fix this

I am thinking in doing the same. I used for years Firefox and since there were lately to many errors, like Firefox NOT responding I decided to install Opere and see what it does -

None of the special "addins" were working for me, they were or blocked or stopping after 30 sec. Opera should allow this option as default I believe.
