Email and Calendar Use - Google is Bye Bye

I have a question, so of late I have decided I am going rogue. I have had it with Google and it's squeezing of every last ounce of personal information that they can out of you, the resources (and they may have shot themselves in the foot for coming up with how much data bandwidth each tab is using) extorted, privacy concerns, on and on. Anyone who has accessed the Task Manager in Windows and checked on running processes will be shocked to note, that there will be ten or more pages that say Google or Google Services, each pulling a ton of data just sitting there. Then, when you move or minimize the Task Manager you realize you were correct, you are indeed only running ONC instance of Google Chrome not seventeen as the TM would seem to reveal. Anyway, that aside. I personally think that Opera should consider making an OS. I love the layout, I like all of cusomizations it allows, it has got it all an then some. Almost. With Google? comes GMail, with Gmail comes integrated Calendar among many other linked internal pieces of software you can use, all which of course can be synched cross platforms, OS's an systems. Opera, sadly does not have those very important features (anymore). Google started out as a search engine that was all it was. Granted good one. Then became what is today. Opera, well it doesn't have its own search engine. While there are many things to loveabout Opera, and I do! The things it lacks (email, calendar, etc) at this stage of the decision making process, make it almost an impossible choice to go with. I mean I hate to even speak it here, but Edge with its integrated software, calendar, email, an tools sadly looks like the runner up behind Google. And I am no Microsoft fan by any means. What do you, the other Opera users, have running that provides you with email, calendar that synch across to your other devices and, that works well with Opera? Thank you!

@shokaree You can use your Gmail account and the workspace features within Opera, as you can use Microsoft tools, although I don’t know, if that’s somehow limited. As Opera is built on Chromium like Chrome or Edge it should work more or less flawless.
I use Gmail and calendar. If you want more privacy check out Proton. If you like a browser with built in email and calendar tools try Vivaldi. It‘s made by Former Opera employees. But even then you should have a host for calendar and email.
