@axlwhiterose: For some reason the default is "no block". You have to go options and check "on all videos" under auto-block ad settings.

I do have dark theme in Youtube and the problem with this extension is, everything turns white.

it works for some time and the youtube's anti-adbloker only allows 5 more videos when you get to like 50 or 200 videos (idk) and then if you still use the ad blocker the video player will not work so the opera ad blocker works but the youtube's anti ad blocker does NOT let you have it use for like 1 year and the ez opnion is to just get youtube premium

@tututhelegend: It was found in YouTube's code, they add a 5-second delay and they slow down the buffer on purpose if you're using an adblocker. This only happens with Opera GX's and other adblockers but not with uBlock origin

@suhailpro777: That was nothing but unfounded speculation. The real reason for that (which has since been fixed) was an issue with the AdBlock and AdBlock Plus apps, the developers of which already released updates for which fixed it.

tried to hack my accounts.
it all the sudden opened a bunch of tabs i dont have accounts to and take login tokens. this should be removed and marked as malware.

If it forces you into light mode make sure your Opera/Opera GX Themes setting is set to Dark mode and it should work fine
