Adblock disabled but stilla active?

Heyo, I've been trying to read news articles and watch anime on opera but the problem I run into is that some sites want you to disable Adblock to view the content... So when I disable Adblock on that site and it says Adblock is disabled on that site, I refresh the site and the site still tells me that I need to disable Adblock to view the content.
I can't figure out the problem...
