No bookmark controls in Opera 20 for Windows

I am uninstalling Opera 20 because there seems to be no provision for importing bookmarks from another browser. The Opera help system says "Select Settings > Import and export File > Import and export." This is false for this version. There is no submenu called Import and export File under Settings in v. 20, and I couldn't find any provision anywhere else.
Furthermore I see no information for how to contact Opera tech support for this or any other problem. Opera clearly does not want to hear anything from customers or users, and I have no use for companies with that policy. -

Same experience. I have IE, Firefox (going bye bye because of Brendan Eich and Mozilla fascism), and Chrome. Now Opera. I was able to import my bookmarks from Firefox into Chrome. Opera? Nope.
I'll stick around but I would not move to Opera in full until I can see my bookmarks imported.

Install the old version: http://www.opera.com/download/guide/?os=windows&ver=12.16&local=y
-
Import your bookmarks and organise them a bit
-
Install the new version
-
Use the Bookmarks importer on the More Tools menu to add them to the Bookmarks Bar or Speed Dial.

Pesala, that solution didn't work for me. When I click on the More Tools menu the Bookmarks Importer options remains greyed out no matter what I do.

Same for me. It's a very common problem.

With a widely known cause and solution.

Rafael: funksoulbro knows this very well. He's just being rather tiresome today, going from thread to thread and stirring things up. Hopefully he'll find another playground tomorrow.

Please ban this fanboy. All he does is personally insult other users. All I said in this thread is that it's the same for me and that it's a common problem - both of which are true.
