Youtube video - "stretch" problem

Hello,
Today, when i opened Youtube on Opera GX - its size doesnt match my resolution ( =yesterday everything was fine ).
=I cleard cookies/ cache/ all history - doesnt help
=I restarted system/ updated browser - doesnt help

What else can i do .. And why i have such weird "thing" ?

Im on Opera LVL 5 (core: 107.0.5045.30) and youtube is glitching with the video scaling.

It works fine on full-screen and anything bigger than 100% zoom. But anything smaller than 100% zoom say 90% it doesnt scale right.

Also that black bar still works for pausing and playing the video.

@mich3jda Just checked a few YouTube videos and couldn't see such issue. Any steps to reproduce it?

Did you do the basic test with extensions and mods disabled?

@leocg yes, ive tried it. What is more interesting On Fox Browser ... same issue. Only EDGE is ok. So it is obvious that problem is with browser, not in system or graphic card

i have same problem since updating 107.0.5045.30, latest google chrome has same problem, some reddit users reported this problem as well https://www.reddit.com/r/OperaGX/new/ possible fix to delete AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera GX Stable\Service Worker\ScriptCache folder in user folder, but it fixes only some videos

Today I started seeing a similar issue on several browsers. Did a quick search and it seems to be due to a new change in YouTube's layout.

well full screen and Theatre mode working fine, standard mode is broken for some videos, it is youtube's fault, edge and google chrome have same problems

For now - it is working just fine. I don't know if its an effect of some kind of update or something else.

Go to YouTube and on your home page hover over a video make sure that you have shown a preview and if it doesn't work it will be stretched and lined
