Hi, I have a Nokia 8210 whch is a relatively new phone & the same thing happened to me. Out of the blue last weekI started getting error 403 forbidden messages. I have tried clearing cookies, deleting & retyoping web address, deleting extensions & nothing has worked. I would also appreciate any help or advice on this issue

I emailed google but got no reply except they told me they had received my email. I have also contacted HMD who own Nokia & they have filed a report but I haven't heard anything back yet. I think the problem is with Nokia.Maybe they haven't updated their security certificates or something because I can access gmail on my laptop, chromebook & iphone all using Opera. I think it would be good if all the people having this problem emailed Nokia so they can see this is a big problem affecting lots of people

I don't think you need to return the phone to the seller. It isn't a defective phone this is a problem that Nokia phones have. I used an app years ago that stopped working & I found on a forum that Gmail had changed their security certificates & I found a new certificate on a forum. When I downloaded that to my phone everything worked again. I think it is something similar here. If they looked at this they could probably just update the certificates & everything would be fine. The problem is convincing them of this. Whe I contact them they just keep saying do a soft reset, then a hard reset, take the sim out & clean it etc - none of which has got anything to do with this problem. Anyway good luck. I have sort of given up & check my email on my laptop only now

You can contact them for a live chat using the link below. When I did this they said they would refer my query to the relevant department after the long conversation about trying turning the phone on and off and cleaning the sim card.

Ensure that your phone has a stable internet connection. You can try accessing other websites or apps that require an internet connection to see if the issue is specific to Gmail or if there's a broader connectivity problem.
