Bad lagging in address bar on ios17

Since IOS 17 update* there has been very bad lagging when typing in the address bar. Current Opera update has not fixed it. Safari works fine.

• including the latest 17 update.

Am I the only one experiencing this? It makes the browser almost unusable.

Is there a way to report bugs?

This problem appears to have been fixed by the new iOS 17.1 update

It turns out that the lagging is intermittent. The last iOS update did nothign to fix it. There are times when the severity lessens. I'm not sure it ever really disappears but on my iPhone 12 with iOS 17.1 it is still there and to repeat myself makes Opera at times almost unusable.

I have reported this to Opera, but there i no sign of a fix.

I’ve been experiencing this as well on iphone 14. Running ios 17.2.1 and Opera 4.4.1.

This is still a problem, WHY is it still not fixed after all this time? Ill ditch this mess and go back to safari, i fqing swear

@mr-datsun the ios phones usually lag with refereshed update its not something to be bothered give it some time anuse stronger internet connection.

bad lagging is common with new updates use better network
