So, I recently had to reset my PC to an older version because of a settings error. After doing that, I opened Opera as usual and saw that there was nothing. No bookmarks, no search history, nothing. I tried synchronizing, but to no avail. I had 200+ bookmarks, all lost 😞
Please tell me, or guide me, on if and how could I recover my bookmarks, and my pre-filled account data/search history

I've lost hundreds of bookmarks after a forced reset of the operating system on my end. This is devastating. I used Opera GX & Opera every single day, not having any indication that my data was not actively syncing. I was logged in (and if I wasn't, I wasn't aware of it and I wasn't visibly notified I was no longer logged in) and my browser was connected to the internet every day. I don't understand how it could fail so poorly or fail at notifying the user that it's no longer syncing.

If you login once, like with every other browser, you just do it the once. With Opera, it appears you have to login constantly for the gosh darn thing to actually function properly. The point of me syncing it is In case of data loss!

I love Opera, and I love everything it's done for me up until this point. But this has actually caused me to no longer use it as my primary browser and instead switching back to Chrome (RIP).

This legitimately sucks and I've never ever experienced this with another browser before. I can't even go back into the search history to find them again because that also doesn't sync, obviously.
