Switching to Blink from Presto. I am a keyboard guy working on a 14'' laptop. In Presto I used to hide:

      1. tabs bar (often multiple tabs opened - why should anybody behind my shoulder see other tabs? + viewport maximization)
      2. address bar (viewport maximization) - for entering a URL I have been using the 'Ctrl+L' shortcut - it still works in Blink but does not open a popup with URL textbox but focuses on the address bar which I would like to hide. Providing I use fullscreen (F11) 'Ctrl+L' does not allow to input a URL anywhere

Searched Google, the forum, Chrome extensions & Opera flags. Don't see any option to get the functionalities.

From a developer's point of view the above does not seem complex - just add the option to hide the bars & add 'Ctrl+L' opening the Presto popup if URL bar hidden or fullscreen ON.

      Will do?

Fullscreen is fullscreen. It works but the 'Ctrl+L' thing.

What I mean is keeping the lean top bar with minimise/maximise/close buttons to have the window operational for non-keyboarders but hiding all else. Many apps have the simple 'View' menu allowing to hide/show anything. Should be standard.

You can supposedly hide your tabs with the Panic Button and supposedly restore them with one click with this extension.

Remember you need the Opera extension called Download Chrome Extension, to install a Chrome Extension.
