Hello. I'm using Opera Mail 1.0 build 1044 on Windows 7. I'm trying to convert a pop3 account to imap. I disabled the pop3 account and left its messages intact. I created a new imap account that's working fine. When I drag and drop, or copy and paste, I can get the old messages into the new imap account. But when the imap account is sorted by date it shows the old messages from the pop3 account as the newest messages when they should be the oldest. In my next attempt I assigned an old pop3 message to a label and exported it. That worked fine. But when I attempted to import it into the new imap account the Opera import routine only showed pop3 account destinations. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to move pop3 messages to an imap account without changing the dates?
      Thanks, Tom.

As you noticed, uploading the messages to the IMAP account causes them to be treated as newly-arrived messages. Don't know of a way to get around that.

when I attempted to import it into the new imap account the Opera import routine only showed pop3 account destinations.

Correct. You can't import directly to an IMAP account.

@burnout426 Darn, I was afraid that would be the case. Looks like I'll just have to retain the old pop3 account in a disabled state in case I need to access any of the old messages. Thanks for the quick response.
