I finally make my decision and uninstall Opera. It was a sad decision but I must said Opera is inferior to others. It is very slow, and it doesn't sync extension, has difficulties in sync even bookmarks. Ublock origin doesn't work only on Opera, on Firefox I never had this problem, or even in edge but in firefox could be because I used an incognito profile. Overall I prefer Edge or Firefox they are more stable. Sad but true

@boldy-82: Bro, this is a page to download a browser extension, why are you saying this here? That's like me going to Walmart just to say that I will stop buying from Walmart.

@brun333rp I'm not telling you to not use opera, you can use it of course. I'm only explaining what make me give up on opera in hoping that they will fix it. Opera is a great browser but should be fixed in those issues that make it be inferior to others

@boldy-82: opera GX is the fastest browser i have used to date, including Chrome, Chromium, Safari, Brave and others. Have you tried that one? It is probably your machine not Opera

(as of Nov, 9) I thought it wasn't working for Youtube anymore until I tried 3 things which made it work again.
Number 1 uninstall the addon and re-install it to see if it updates itself since I couldn't find a setting to update it manually, if it crashes the browser repeatingly as a result, then try removing it with developer mode on.
number 2, clear all the cache and cookies on the browser, according to a thread on reddit, this is incase the addon missed something that slip through the cracks so to speak when the addon was on, they were vague on how that works, but I'm not complaining because it's better to have something to try, then nothing at all.
number 3, make sure opera gx's default ad blocker isn't on along with ublock origin simultaneously, Youtube is too familiar with that the default gx ad blocker and gives you a pop up blocking the video player every time it's activated.if none of these works, then that's a clear sign to worry.
came here to see if other people were getting the same issue of Youtube blocking you from watching video, even reading comments saying Ublock "bypassed" it, but I found a solution Via a video I watched, You got to go to your filter list, click on "purge all cache" and then hit "update now" afterwards, this seemed to fix the issue.
(yeah I'm quoting my past comments, did not want to write a new paragraph without remembering the methods I shared, plus I came to spread info to those who are looking for it, because I used to be one of the people looking for ways to keep this ad blocker working.)
these methods are still working for me and should still work for anyone else who is either worried or freaking out, especially the part about going to the filter list hitting purging all cache and clicking update now. That particular method has yet to stop working, if youtube's blocker thing pops up again just keep remembering to purge the cache from the filter list, I personally purge Cache twice a week just to make sure I don't forget.
Honestly I'm just hoping Youtube gives up when this quote on quote "war on ad blockers" ends because I used to have some patience with Youtube's ads in the past, but now that I've been using this ad blocker for a few months now, I don't think I could ever turn it off for youtube again, no matter what they decide to do.

Since Youtube did that whole update crap causing all ad-blockers to not work, the only adblock I've found that works on Opera for Youtube is called simply "AdBlock - best ad blocker" it's logo is a red octagon wiht a white "flat" hand. Woulnd't hurt to use it until Ublock figures it out.
