Mute site option that mutes the site, even if opened in a new tab. Feature is present in chrome. and highly recommended. I use it all the time.

@colonel-prime While on the site, click on the padlock badge and then on site Settings. In Sounds, change it to Mute.

@leocg is there any way to do this for extension sites? I have a game extension that plays audio every time and i hate manually muting the tab every time.

just click the tab icon, will mute/pause the sound.
click again to unmute.
