How to Add button to go to frequently accessed URL in the extension bar

I want to put a frequently accessed link somewhere on the same line as the URL bar. Preferably where the extensions are pinned. I do not use the bookmark bar or the side bar because it takes up too much space. Any ideas? A shortcut might work too but I can't figure out how to use those to open a link that I specify. And I have not found any extensions that will just be a button to access my own custom URL.
You may be wondering what this is all about. Since FVD speeddial was removed from the chrome web store I decided to create my own self-hosted speed dial page that I have full control over and that won't suddenly disappear.

It still shows in the Chrome webstore on Windows for me. See https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/speed-dial-fvd-new-tab-pa/llaficoajjainaijghjlofdfmbjpebpa. The search field is now forced unless you get the paid version though.
You can still use New Tab Start Page to force FVD Speed Dial or your Speed Dial's URL to load instead of the start page (like so). You might even be able to make your extension do the redirect so you don't have to rely on New Tab Start Page.
Home Button at Top Right should still work should still work and will even work with chrome and chrome-extension URLs.

@burnout426 Thank you very much! The Home Button extension is exactly what I'm looking for.
