FVD speed deal add-ons not working after opera update,
i've lost all my speed deals.

Everything is working good with the extension (using this workaround in Opera 105.0.4970.21 for me for what it's worth.

@burnout426 thank you anyway, but i'm going for another browser, no time for useless splash screen at start and workaround solutions.

All of my favorite links were saved in this extension. But, under the last 2 updates to Opera for Windows, this extension no longer works. This is unacceptable. Luckily, I had the speed dials backed up in another browser. If this is not fixed, that other browser will become my new default browser.

I use the one from https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/speed-dial-fvd-new-tab-pa/llaficoajjainaijghjlofdfmbjpebpa and it's still working for me in Opera.

@burnout426 For clarification, I use the one at https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/speed-dial-fvd-new-tab-pa/llaficoajjainaijghjlofdfmbjpebpa and not the one at addons.opera.com.

I'm having the same problem since the last update, lost all my favorits and all my dials within speeddial fvd and the same thing happened all so under linux os. So, please do sommething to solve this bug , if not I'll be in the obligation to say bye to Opera after so many years using it ! -

@burnout426 Thanks, that worked. Deleted the one previously installed and pinned this one to the menu, and it seems to work. However, all my dials are gone. Do I have to start over or can I restore them from a backup before the Opera update that messed it up? I'm on Mac running Ventura.

@tonyfvopera I didn't lose any of may dials in evrsyn web site, both speedial fvd and eversync are working well with microsft edge and I'm waiting some new update of opera which can , I hope, fix this bug

If you have a backup of your whole Opera profile, you might be able to rename your new profile folder and put a copy of the backup in its place and see how things go. But, can't say for sure that will work as it's not known what caused the loss in the first place. The loss happened when the new FVD Speed Dial version came out and when a new Opera version come out. Could be both or just one. Or, it could be something else like profile corruption. Not sure.
If you can get it working with your speed dials showing long enough, FVD has an option in settings to export. You could do that, restore your newer profile and import to get your dials back.
Personally, I would just add them back in and be done with it. Then, export to be safe.

@burnout426 I'm so glad Opera's History menu is so easy to use. I'll get the URLs from there and add more as I find any I missed. Easier than dealing with restoring or reinstalling. Gracias.

@tonyfvopera No problem about bookmarks and history but there are speeddial and evesync who not work at all, no importation is possible and hear that the same thing happened this aternoon in my phone, lost all of my dials ( opera's rapid access) . In linux os there are no autmatic update and what I've imported from there is not possible to install or to restore to opera, it worked for me with microsoft edge wht means that the prolem belong to opera after the last update. Hope a new update of oper that can fix this bug. Sorry for my english. Thanks to all of you

@burnout426 hi dude...it helped to mee too..its great but..i made a setup so when i open opera this fvd shows up but when i open a new tab its the same old opera..not this fvd..where and how to make this ? please help , thanks

Install FVD Speed Dial.
Install New Tab Start Page.
In the New Tab Start Page extension's settings, set
chrome-extension://llaficoajjainaijghjlofdfmbjpebpa/newtab.htmlas the custom URL, set the other options as you like and click the save button. -
