i turn on my computer in the mornings for working at home and walk away to get ready, i was home alone and this scared the crap out of me and not in a funny way. Suddenly a loud male voice in my house? And somehow I thought it said "You've been hacked" so I thought something terrible happened to my pc! Thanks a lot. There's a way to do something funny without causing problems. Something visually funny. Or If you want to do sounds at least do it like Discord, or something pleasant. Or let this be something on the homepage/ a theme for people to choose from etc. This has super pissed me off and I may have to switch back to Chrome now.

@vawkwardbat I got to admit I got scared when I first heard it but later on I actually got the joke, I mean being obnoxious is Eric Andre's whole personality.
Pretty cool to see an artist that level team up with a browser in this way which has actually never been done before I don't think.

Stupidest idea ever. Heap of people can’t stand this, and you’re ramming it down people throats by force. Just it’s just bloat, pointless, 90s pop up crap, that undermines everything a ‘gaming browser’ was meant to be. Surely you’ve noticed the spikes in uninstalls lately. @zenixserpent: you can brig it back by going to %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Programs\Opera GX, then go to folder 104.0.4944.74 find opera_gx_splash.exe copy it to the folder 104.0.4944.80 and replace the one inside
