I've been using Opera GX for quite some time, but sometimes it's just horrible for everyday browsing. For example, if I want to work with multiple browser tabs and windows. Sure, no problem, but wait - now I need to move a few tabs between those two browser windows. I can select them (Shift/Ctrl + mouse click works fine) as usual, but dragging them away results in only the current tab unpinning and other ones deselecting. "Okay, I'll just move them manually, I guess..." False. The tab-docking feature is so janky you could spend multiple minutes just figuring out the pixel-perfect spot where the tab can actually dock.
Although the UI is great, the UX is terrible. Please fix.

Namely, please increase the tabs docking/snap-on distance to the active window, and allow for docking and undocking multiple selected tabs.

@leocg I used this software for 2 years now but here are some stuff I really want to be added:

First of all, controlling the sound of the music on the browser. I want to hear those virtual keyboard click as clean as possible, but as well as listening to the music I choose.

As the second thing, adding automatic CPU and RAM limiter. That would be sick! The browser has auto hot tab killer, then why now add CPU and RAM to that while gaming? And yea as the third thing, games depending on what category we are mostly interested in. That's all, the browser is good but it can be better. Cya!

What the fck is going on with this Browser?
I reported one single bug mutliple times now and its still there since months.

-Since one update the mid click feature just disapeared - reported this to the lazy devs, nothing happened 😃

-DId a workaround and activated this scrollable tabs to use the mid click again and now since the last few updates they messed everything up again and I have a non functional green scrollbar above my tabs every time im closing them. And the best thing is, its not even working XDD

-Switched to Opera One in hope the devs are more hmm bugless, and ran into mutliple bugs in the first 10 minutes XD

Instead fixing bugs the devs just release more and more uselesss stuff what no one asked for like this nonsense fake history shit. Or this AI trash.
This is just pathetic and im switching now to a different browser that is not under the developement of these opera "developers" - if you can call them like this.

                  Cheers

OPERA GX ISSUE.png Hello! I have been using Opera GX for as long as I can remember now. I love it, it's simple, looks good and gets the job done for me. One of my biggest concerns is how hard the windows are to drag. Often When using side-by side mode for windows (for studying, etc.), The tabs no longer go to the very top of the screen, so when you try navigating through tabs the process can be truly frustrating as you accidentally double tap the top and exit side-by-side mode. I believe fixing this issue is something that would overall improve the experience and be less frustrating. Also combining windows after you are done with side-by-side mode is Extermely frustrating as there is very little margin for error. Chrome does a great job at this and I am unsure just how hard it is to fix, but Please fix this. I will personally Learn, and work for Opera for free to resolve this issue myself if this is the requirement. I absolutely am driven to frustration by these overly difficult and tedious tasks that are so simple on chrome. This is not intended to be hate, I love Opera GX. This is genuine feedback I think would fix the only issues with Opera GX, and allow me to use it again.

One thing that can be added, are like "group tabs" that Chrome has, for me I would like these, since I have tons of tabs open, even with workspaces, I have like 4 workspaces, and I don't want anymore, and adding this feature would be the best, other then that, everything else is great!

I spent a lot of time searching for and organizing a variety of websites with content for a little indie game and since the latest update all my tabs have been closed. Is there any way to recover the urls i have been visiting in the past year?

Why is the Design of opera better than of opera gx. also why are there features like tab sorting in opera which are not in opera gx? it would be nice if opera gx had more customizability in design and also have features like tab sorting.

                              Chrome import doesn't import passwords.
The password manager accessible only via search and typing 'password'
                              Sync issue warning not clickable

Did anyone even test this browser before releasing it? 10 minutes into it (decided to give it a try after an ad by a nice youtuber, whose content didn't install even though I used his referral link - another bug) and I already have found 4 different issues.

Do you guys even have a testing team?!

@vvilku Yes, they test the releases but, you know, all softwares have issues and it won't block the release.
Only a really huge major issue, that completely prevent the use of the browser would block the launching of a new build.

@leocg Why is that a common practice in IT? That's quite disrespectful. Imagine applying the same standards in autmotive or construction... Like "the car runs and drives, but we haven't installed the windshield... QA = OK, release to production, we'll add a windshield in the next model"...

@vvilku The comparison is not correct since softwares don't use material stuff, they aren't something you can touch.

It's impossible to release a software without any bugs, that's why they are launched anyway unless there's something huge enough to block the release.

@leocg That's absolutely incorrect. It's a matter of due diligence and proper testing and QA.
We are getting used to the mediocrity of software delivered and the excuse is alwasy "it's impossible to do it better".
That's no excuse. You wouldn't accept an incomplete or incorrect service, like if you got a wrong hair cut - would you accept an explanation: "I ddin't work this time, it's too complicated, maybe it will work next time you visit"?

@vvilku You are comparing completely different things.

There never have been and there never will be a (complex) software released without any bugs.

@leocg that's exactly what I mean by normalising mediocrity. Thank you for confirming

                                            @vvilku I'm not confirming anything.

And it has nothing to do with mediocrity, it's part of the nature of coding, that's how things work.

Developing a software means creating bugs.
