Hi, I've been using opera for a while now and yesterday/this morning, opera updated opening a new window with the new, fuller logo. the whole layout was changed and the tabs floated above the main page instead of being connected to it. the was also 2 workspaces - one had a star icon and the other a house. i quite liked it, but when i closed my laptop and reopened it a while later, it was gone? im back on the original one with the logo that is plain lines, but the forum has the full logo. i went to the menu > updates and recovery and updated it, but it was up to date and nothing changed. was this a thing that others experienced or do i need to do something to get the new version back?

@johnalobvo Are you saying this happened to you also?
If so, what version does Opera say you currently have?

@paintingmythoughts I agree it is weird to have tabs in the top position away from the page they are and represent, instead of the location bar and bookmarks above them.
It creates a weird disconnect between the page and the tab header... but that is common these days, tbf. -ChloeAnd sys and Opera specs:

@burnout426 hi! thanks for your help, forgot this existed. i think opera was just doing a clean-out or update or something, because it's gone back to the new version now. thanks anyway!
