After successful payment, my VPN Pro account is shown active with NexWay but inactive in the Opera account. I have followed the advice of login out and in again and even restartet the PC. To no avail. Please advise.

@leocg Thank you for the advice. It got me at least a partial success in that now I'm connecting with the free Opera VPN. The problem still remains, that my VPN Pro status on my Opera account is set to "inactive", despite a successful payment to NexWay. Somehow the communication between the NexWay and the Opera database seems to be inadequate.

Hi there,
I understand that you're having trouble activating your VPN Pro account in Opera, even though it shows as active on NexWay. I'm happy to help you troubleshoot this issue.
Here are a few things you can try:
Make sure you're using the correct email address. When you sign up for a VPN Pro account, you'll need to provide an email address. This is the same email address you'll use to log in to your Opera account. Make sure you're using the correct email address when you log in to both NexWay and Opera.
Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Sometimes, corrupted cache and cookies can interfere with the login process. To clear your browser's cache and cookies, follow these steps:
Open Opera.
Click the three dots in the top right corner of the browser window.
Select "Settings."
Click the "Privacy & security" tab.
Under "Clear browsing data," click "Choose what to clear."
Select the "Cached images and files" and "Cookies and other site data" checkboxes.
Click "Clear data."
Try restarting your computer. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix minor login issues. If you've tried all of the above and you're still having trouble activating your VPN Pro account, please contact Opera support for further assistance.
Best regards,
Harry
