No Downloads button at the top right

- Open Opera in Private mode (the Downloads button is not shown)
- Go to a website and click on a download which prompt you for the name/location to download to. (Downloads button is shown)
- Don't confirm the name/location, but cancel the download. (Downloads button is removed)
- Now the Downloads button will no longer appear at all, so you don't get visual feedback when files are downloaded and accessing your downloads is harder.

This is a known and kind of long-standing issue that was there before Opera One was introduced.
As you noticed, cancelling in the download dialog triggers the issue. You then have to clear your download history at the URL
opera://downloads
and download something again to get the download button back.See https://forums.opera.com/topic/60748/downloads-pin-doesn-t-appear-when-a-download-has-been-cancelled for reference.
