Opera One Browser Player

I'm using PopOS Linux, with Opera One (Version 102) and Chromium (version 116). I want to use Spotify in the side player, but beyond this I want to be able to play videos and audio from websites. This website (https://html5test.com) specifically shows faults of the opera browser for this. I've tried solutions online with a certain file fix, but nothing has changed, partly because I'm not sure they're installed in the right place.
When I go to opera://about - it says my install path is /app/opera
There is no /app directory in my root directory or my home directory.I switched from chrome in order to benefit of the side bar and it's functions mainly the spotify player. If I can't fix this, I may have to switch back
