Opera Makes My Laptop Fan Come On

I have the following recurring issue: I open a bunch of tabs (like 10, plus the 2 I have pinned) and after a while my laptop (Surface Laptop 4, Win 11, 64bit, 16GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5) fan comes on - fast. I'll close all the tabs except for a few and it makes no difference. I'll close Opera entirely and eventually the fan will turn off. I'll open Opera again - same few handful of tabs - and the fan come straight back on. I just switched to Firefox with the same tabs open and no fan. I'll stick with Firefox for now to see if I have the same issues, but I'm curious to know if there are settings in Opera which I can change to prevent this? I'm also wondering what my expectations should be around how many tabs I can have open at one time. Thanks!

Same problem with my PC. Occasionally I have about 70% CPU usage and my fans blowing insanely fast. This happens every 20-30 mins

Same problem. New Opera is destroying my CPU.
After 20 years using Opera I finally had to switch to the alternative one. -

Just a quick update: I have been using Firefox since I made this post and have not encountered the same problem (I am also a long time Opera user). Surprised there hasn't been a response from someone at Opera.

Just providing a brief update: Since making this post, I've been using Firefox, and interestingly, I haven't come across the same issue (even though I've been a dedicated Opera user for a long time). It's quite surprising that there hasn't been any response from the Opera team regarding this matter.
