Just opened Opera and see the newest update. All my workspace icons are transparent. How do I change this to their previous appearance?

      Can I undo this update?

I do not like the new start page. I find the transparency of everything makes it hard to read. I cannot find a way of getting rid of the transparency and will have to resort to changing my wallpaper to something which is not as attractive to look at, but which makes it easier to read. or deleting all my speed dial tiles. Has anyone else found a solution? I can't even make my speeddial tiles larger to assist me. I do not have any sight impairment (other than one which is corrected by spectacles). I just find the browser start page confusing now.
I may have to jump ship, which would be a shame. I have used and loved Opera for over 10 years.

@heldotshel I ended up downloading the logos for each icon and set each one up as a Custom Image. It took awhile and we shouldn't have to do this. Almost bailed on Opera but will continue using it for now.

@alleycat2023 I have improved the visual situation by applying a more uniformly dark wallpaper so that I can read my tiles and the group titles more easily. I still find it irritating that there seems to be no way to customise the appearance to enlarge the tiles back to their previous size. Annoyingly, the tutorial shows an option to do this, but I can't find it on my settings menus. I shall stick with it for now and hope I get used to it.

I agree. I can't stand the transparent tiles. It makes it hard to find what I'm looking for. It either needs to be changed back or give us an option to revert to the solid style. I hope Opera takes care of this. In the mean time I will keep searching for another browser.
