Tho you will only be able to use the 64bit if you have a 64bit CPU & 64bit OS

http://blog.chromium.org/2014/06/try-out-new-64-bit-windows-canary-and.htmlOn OS X I know that some plug ins are 64 bit (Java JRE 7 & JRE 8 are 64bit only), flash and a few others have 64bit versions
Has anyone else found something similar to Java on OS X that is 64bit only plug in?
Why Open the Web?
Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content. -

Wow, that's interesting. I'm always interested in more browsing speed. I sure hope when it comes to Opera, with this 64 bit version, if you install it, your profile, bookmarks, speed dial, etc. from an earlier 32 bit version will carry over.
