Hello, please tell me how to turn off the entry animation in opera one?

@williama26 No, it is not refreshing. It is childish. I understand that some people may like it, but it should be optional and presented as an opt-in feature. Just imagine being in a meeting or library and having to start the browser. It's just childish.

@agrajagtheunconsolable You can open a topic or, even better, show your support in a existing one here in the forum.
You can also ask in https://opera.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/9

@xishiliya i have to say this sound only plays once after an update each startup isn't going to play the startup sound opera GX does the same thing in install and update see what @leocg also said as well

@williama26 Yes, but when you turn on opera early in the morning and it has updated itself, it becomes a show. This is total nonsense. I have to always remember to turn my volume down after an update because of this stupidity. I haven't seen any other normal browser have something like this.

go into the opera directory, and delete the opera_gx_splash.exe file.
I did it, worked fine. -

@shodan-shodan Really great idea.
I would have preferred a more official solution but thank you very much -

@shodan-shodan Lucky Windows users, for once! I'm on a Mac, and I can't find an equivalent thing to delete.

How to get rid from annoying sound on Opera start up? Why is this music playing before loading the browser? Does it make the browser more distinct or competitive?
