    I bought a new laptop since old one broke, logged into my opera gx account and sync hasn't worked please help

      @spale Speed Dials are not automatically populated, they can be found in Other Speed Dials.

                @leocg My speed dial from previous PC is back although I still can't find my old extensions. thanks for the help so far btw really helping!

                  Check your internet connection: Ensure that your new laptop has a stable internet connection. Syncing requires an active and reliable connection to synchronize your data.

                  Update Opera GX: Make sure you have the latest version of Opera GX installed on your new laptop. Outdated versions may have compatibility issues or bugs that could affect the syncing process. Visit the official Opera GX website or the appropriate app store to check for updates.

                  Verify sync settings: Double-check that the sync settings are enabled correctly. Open Opera GX on your new laptop, go to Settings > Synchronization, and ensure that the relevant options (such as bookmarks, passwords, and other data types) are selected for syncing.

                  Sign out and sign back in: Sign out of your Opera GX account on your new laptop and then sign back in. This action can refresh the synchronization process and resolve any temporary glitches.

                  Clear cache and cookies: Clearing the cache and cookies of your browser can sometimes help resolve syncing issues. Go to Settings > Clear browsing data and select the appropriate options. Ensure that you select "Cached images and files" and "Cookies and other site data."

                  Restart your laptop: Sometimes a simple restart can fix temporary issues. Restart your new laptop and try syncing again after the reboot.

                    @aandhllc yes but this doesnt help at this time, what I really need is my extensions back. the syncing is working as far as I can see from the previous speed dial. but extensions I can't find that so if you could instead point me to the location that could be awsome.

                      @spale Extensions are not synced, so you need to use a backup or just download them all again.
