Dark thm with night mode is not a good combination but you will find out

Lucky you with your shinny Android device because mini8 doesn't work as it says on the tin and announce the end of stream for j2me platform. That's a funeral not an update so: Long Live Opera Mini for Android! -

123 mode never was available like in fullscreen edit, not for my device. Buggy is the white theme where can't be seen when you toggle caps lock (same key used for phone lock in SE devices) on/off. On what device 123 edit mode was optional with mini7 and not in the latest version?

mini.opera.com/global/opera-mini-7.1.32052-advanced-en.jar For signed v Google could be your best friend though. What's the trigger to fall back on mini7.1? Just to stay on topic. -

I've updated to the new 8.0 version. But personally, I don't like the new white UI. Black one looked awesome and premium. Don't know why Opera thinks this new white skin is better. There are also some bugs in this new version. The browser hangs for a while(say 2 or 3 seconds) frequently on my phone. And while writing something when I turn on/off capslock it doesn't show anything in the small box on top, that is, it doesn't show abc, Abc, ABC, though it works. My phone is Sony Ericsson Elm J10i2. Please, consider and solve this problem.
By the way, does anyone know if Opera will update the browser with the previous black skin and UI or not?

Yeah, the new simplified design of the UI looks definitely worse. The dark one was just easier on the eye.

I'm new to Opera...just downloaded to my blackberry 7 device...a couple simple questions: 1) I can't seem to access my corporate intranet w/ this browser vs. the default BB browser - do I need to set up some permissions or trusted access? 2) how do I set Opera to be my default browser so that when I click a link it launches Opera? Thanks.

Hi, you can't because Opera Mini loads pages via a server that compresses them, and that server can't transcode pages located at your local network. Opera Mobile can access any pages since it's a full browser but it's not available for BB.

I don't know if that's possible, sorry.
