Opera window follwing dragged tab to another monitor

Unfortunately for me, everytime I want to drag and drop an opera tab to one of my other monitors, Opera itself, follows up and starts maximized, but behind the dragged tab. Some applications aren't multi-monitor aware. Chrome has had this problem in the past and I'm assuming that Opera does as well.
Windows multi-monitor support is pretty rudimentary. I use Dexpot to manage both multiple desktops and multiple monitors, it's smart enough to manage apps that themselves might not be multi-monitor/desktop aware.
