Hi.
1password (top password manager) has lack of support under opera.
Both in normal opera version and opera one there is two things missing:- ability to login to 1password plugin (chromium) with touch id
- clicking on 1password login list many times does not fill fields. Like it does not pass that i actually clicked on that item.

@tytanick Same issue here. I have to authenticate with the 1password app and with Opera, but touch ID works with the app: for Opera I have to enter two passwords, one for my company account and one for my personal account. With Chrome, the integration is seamless: authenticate with the app and both 1password accounts are automatically unlocked.
It's a big enough issue that I switched back to Chrome on my work laptop and am close to switching on my personal laptop as well.

@rherrick I agree. I also switched from normal Opera to Edge becasue of this and also one other issue that just crash my opera from time to time. But when Opera One came in i started to dig in. It has the best design i can think of. Maybe ARC browser might be better but i dont trust new browser companies as it might be big mistake
Anyway Please fix this Opera Team. 1password is must have !

Same here - loving Opera One, but lack of 1Password support is a killer. 1Password says issue lies with Opera and not implementing the biometrics for touchId etc.

1password is introducing a new feature that allows you to add trusted browsers in near future;

Same here, 16" M2 MBP, latest Ventura. I could not get the Touch ID to work in my favourite browser, Opera, and have changed to Firefox as a result. I would much prefer to use Opera, but the lack of Touch ID means that managing my sites is a burden, involving a significant number of extra steps to get things done.
Can the developers here please respond? Touch ID is essential for me. Cheers, from Australia.

I was told that the capacity to add "trusted browsers" is 'coming soon', but no timeline was offered.

Great to know! as least there is an option now.
I had to switch from Opera to Brave browser (vertical tab groups kind of work better than Chrome but Opera implementation still the best) due to this. However i am a little concern on the security side as it is now on us to trust Opera to add into the browser list.
have 1password officially state reason not to include Opera, how much of it is security and how much is Opera not implementing biometeric?
now Opera One with Aria based on Open AI, really got me thinking whether to switch back to Opera and add it in Trusted Browser.
- yes it is now owned by Chinese Company but that is where my understanding ends...
