@ivanrosliwe rather than text, i prefer the icon of the website that are most in the group tab island or the first website icon in that tab group island. Because i always hated having long text for group tab . 1-2 letters fine, but more than that is too long. Thats why i hate chrome and edge tab group.

@reitei17 better than putting the icon of the first website, putting the icon of the "active" website (the last one visited) on that island of tabs. But yes.

@ivanrosliwe or just make it like old Opera had. Just last active tab in regular size with description...

@reitei17 Space will be as big as normal tab. I worder if you ever saw or use that old tab stacking design.

@airforce25228 i meant that the tab island when minimize it becomes a line. So it definitely so much thinner than a tab

Of course I mean the same thing but this could be problematic (in tab organization ways) and I would make it ate least optional. It saves some space for sure but also thin line is useless when you search some tab or want to make some overview about your tabs. So have some tab with icon and short description makes much easier to remember what is inside and easier to track your tabs and stacks.

@airforce25228 yea previously i thought only the icon showing is nice and neat. But the whole tab overview is a bit too big, well at least for me and plus i dont use touchscreen laptop. For now, overviewing the websites in the tab, you could hover the line color of the minimised tabs and it will show the websites in that tab. Well anyway, we will see what opera one will go in the future.

@reitei17 So if I suggest that stacks should have same size as normal tabs it is too big but normal tab even with same size are ok size?
Are talking about same thing because this is so confusing.

@Reitei17 Yes, it would be nice to have that option too. I would particularly like to be able to name the islands.
