I can customise the name of the Tab Islands?
If I want to move a tab to a specific island I get Island 1 and I can't customise it. I can't change the colour either. Is it possible to customise it? Is it planned for the future?

With the arrival of Tab Islands, I think it's a good time for Opera to join the Vertical Tabs. Opera has always been very usable and I think it is the feature that is missing, since it is more than proven that the grouping of tabs together with Workspaces is a very useful feature.

On the side we could have the current bar and add an editable space just to your right to add the Vertical Tabs with Tab Islands to group the tabs (with or without indent), taking advantage to give more customization to the Tab Islands (color, title,...)

@reitei17 better than putting the icon of the first website, putting the icon of the "active" website (the last one visited) on that island of tabs. But yes.

It would be nice to be able to customise the Tab Islands with different colours, and/or even to be able to assign names (https://forums.opera.com/topic/62017/suggestion-possibility-of-naming-of-tab-islands) and/or assign emoticons. Also move the Tab Islands, but this suggestion is already in:

I miss that in the Search Tabs also search within the Bookmarks and in Quick Access. It would make the browser very complete and we would have everything in one place instead of having to search inside bookmarks or click on the address bar.

I see that there are many posts talking about the same thing. As only this one remains open, I join the petition. This feature is very important to me as I use a laptop and two-finger gestures would help me to be more productive in my work.

Tab Islands is active in Opera One (Opera Developer). It's an interesting feature, although I would like more customisation.
