I suppose that after some update, this error started to occur, since I haven't made any modifications to the extensions or configuration. While using YouTube, Opera GX gradually increases the RAM consumption (in any state: home page, video, settings, etc.), consuming all available RAM in the system until it freezes the PC and then the page shows an insufficient memory error.
I also noticed that in the GX Control section, the RAM consumption numbers, for some reason, become negative...
I tried to see if this happened on Twitch or Instagram and no, the RAM is properly managed on other websites.

@leocg I'd like to add some more information about this issue. The RAM usage (or memory leak?) happens mainly when YouTube is on an open tab, depending on the length of the video the RAM usage can differ between 8%-97% at random intervals or at any time. I watch a lot of podcast stuff on YouTube that are over an hour to 3 hours and sometimes watch smaller length videos - 8min-25min for example. I have noticed my RAM usage significantly being used when watching YouTube and no other programs open in the background. Another issue is I don't know how many other sites or programs inside Opera GX that causes a huge spike in RAM usage or a memory leak, it could well be my computer but I'm not really sure.
Here are my computers specs below:
Computer specs -
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 4.7Ghz Max Boost
- 2x16GB 3600Mhz Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4
- NVIDIA GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB
- Corsair 450W CV Bronze 3XS
- 1TB Seagate Barracuda
- 250GB Seagate BarraCuda

I have the same problem with a RAM leak, the only thing that more or less helps is to limit the consumption of RAM in GX Control, and even then, this does not solve the problem with the YouTube tab freezing and memory leaks, and it works after a time or two. My computer is not that weak but not powerful either, but before this everything worked fine and there was no RAM leak.
