After update the lower case bar has football icon. I don't want a football icon. Make it a formula 1 icon. Please make it removable.

Don't want itHi.
Dont really care for fotball (sports)
Please make sport results removable.
And also fix the language/country issue - as I live in Sweden I prefer swedish news to american/english.

The football icon needs to be removable asap. It never should have been launched without customization ability in the first place. I am honestly wondering if the developers and product managers actually use the browser because if they did they should know better that the place they put the football icon is where the tab switch button was originally located. As a result the football icon gets misclicked all the time and the browsing experience with opera mini is now a nightmare

Agreed, I have no interest in football and this should never have been rolled out like this. Fair enough if you want to give the option to add it, but don't tell me it's a feature that's as important for all users as the home or tab button. Have a little resoect for your users.

@wavegr There is nothing to be fixed. They can or can not accept the request to allow removing the button, that can be just ignored by the way.
Opera is not pre-bundled in my phone
"Just ignored by the way" is fine
I could use a different browser is fine too -

@murph012382 Of course you can use another browser, no one will do anything to stop you.

@leocg
Would have hoped you would be more receptive to what the users may like or dislike
Just get used to it is not very empathetic -

@murph012382 Opera could add an option to hide the icon or, maybe, change its position? Yes, they could.
People need to come here acting like if the end of the world is near or Opera had committed a heinous crime just because they (the people) are not able to deal with such a small change? No, they don't. -

@leocg
Never alluded to either
Just voicing a simple opinion that I found this new feature unessary for everyone and to not give user end options leaves me with an unfavorable opinion of the browser -

@leocg sadly there seems to be no option, which is what people here are suggesting they allow the ability to do
