Useless extension, It says that an unknow youtube error has occured, and when you try to download it sends you to fake advertise pages, I would give 0 stars if i could.

Was working perfectly until some few days, now it take time to start the download and cut the track at 2min, 2min08, 2min20, but i can't download the rest of the song...

Seems like it now redirects to a phishing website, asking if you'd like to login using google account. Totally not sus.

@jimbop if I may pop in, you can change the settings in bandicam to create smaller files - for example use something like h264 cpu and lower the percentage quality even if you want - experiment a bit if you want, to find a setting that looks 'good enough' for you. you'll find you'll enjoy recording more. hth a bit gl with it

бесит это говно. раньше хоть скачивало, пусть потом и перекидывало в какую-то парашливую социалку, сейчас просто перекидывает и ничего не качает - в топку!

@mjhood Тоже остался недоволен. Раньше вроде норм работало, а теперь хрень какая-то. Сейчас вообще не найти нормальное расширение для загрузки музла с ютуба... Однако, в ходе своих поисков я вчера нашёл прогу MediaHuman, и она может качать не только с ютуба, но и с других сервисов, качать целые плейлисты, сохранять теги, нумеровать треки согласно плейлисту. Рекомендую)

I know about the size reduction, but I like max quality like this YT downloader.
But another thing, YT downoader still can't record these short verticle videoclips fro YT, although an application for the smartphone called videoder can do it on the smartphone.

Not sure what you mean by "can't record these short vertical clips from YT" - do you mean it doesn't record anything at all, or do you mean it records black screen or green screen?
If you mean a black screen, you can try disabling the Hardware Acceleration of your Browser (usually in Settings, some section like Performance or Hardware or something named like that). This will run the browser in software mode and while it 'may' run a little less smooth, it should allow you to record YT, Netflix, etc. I have to legally say: please don't use these instructions to do anything illegal...
If you can, explain what you mean - or ask on the Bandicam forum perhaps. GL with it

Sorry I misunderstood something - I thought you meant Bandicam can't record the YT browser clips. If Youtube Downloader isn't working for you, I'm sorry I don't know why. When I use it, it forwards the youtube video URL to "addons dot vevioz site ?id= something something" and I see the youtube video and some button links at the bottom, to download in MP3 audio file, or MP4 video file, some different sizes/resolutions usually. Clicking on those, it saves the file for me.Here is what I see when I use Youtube Downloader and go to the site/page it forwards me to:
Other than suggesting to use some adblockers or something, I'm not sure what is not working with this Youtube downlader addon, sorry man

I mean the YoutubeDownloader can't record the YouTube vertical short clips, I get an error. What you showed on the preview aren't the short YT clips, called "shorts". They're showed below the normal YT material of the page.

Oh I see - you're right! Thanks for the clear re-stating of what I did, it helped me figure out what you can do - try this:
- right click the Short YT video, and Copy Video URL
- open a new Tab and past the URL into the Address bar, which goes to the full-size YT video version
- then the YTdownloader button seems to work

How do I use this? I keep getting sent to some social media site called Vevioz and can't actually do my download.

Since yesterday the program doesn't search anymore and I get an error when I click on the icon to launch the program

Current date: 11 apr. 2023I never had that before. Can I install the the extension on another browser in the meantime while this is fixed ?
