It's been 9 days since it should've expired, but it says renewal date feb 24 2024. Am I gonna have to pay even tho I cancelled?

You can goto https://support-vpn-pro.opera.com/hc/en-us and check the Account and Billing section. In the answers for the questions there, you'll see an email address where you can contact them to sort things out.
