Been using Opera for several years without issue an now today showing nexusmods as example many images are now heavy high contrast image on right, not every image does this and also text will go from black to pink or blue like it has been inverted colors:
Strange enough if I page zoom in close enough it reverts to the normal image but at 100% zoom or less most images are almost pure white.
Text does this too on many webpages but sometimes it stays normal
Normal:
And then others the default is like a high contrast:
I have repaired Opera using the uninstall tool from control panel an still persisted, uninstalled completely and downloaded a fresh install and it still persists.
Updating Opera reports browser is up to date.
Purged all extensions, only use ABP ad block plus and block site to prevent pop ups.
Found on post that noted turning off hardware acceleration and it fixed the issue for like 5 min and then persisted to happen.
I use Chrome / Firefox / Opera and Opera is the only one with issues.
Been using the same hardware since my last upgrade last year Oct.
All findings from internet searches address other issues an I cannot tell if I am using the wrong terminology but I am pretty avid on troubleshooting but cannot find any threads here or on reddit that have this issue.
Really enjoy Opera but I am at the point that its unusable.
Anyone else run into this or have any ideas?

@durza44 Click on the quick setting menu:
Is “Sharpen images on all sites” on?
Try turning all lucid mode settings off.

Soo ofc after a few hours of troubleshooting and making a post I self resolved.
Turned off wallpaper and also disabled force dark mode also had to revert theme from dark to system.
This appears to have resolved all issues gave it a little bit and turned on dark theme again and no issues still.
Il keep monitoring and keep posted in the event it doesnt perm resolve.
