@wojtal1 You can't. As said many times already, depending on the file extension/mime type the dialog asking where to save it will always show up for security reasons.

@tixodka Yes, it's widely known that only the pre-defined search engines can be set as default one.

so I've just typed "y" and pressed enter in order to go to youtube, but ever since I accidentally typed y/ ONCE and hit enter, the browser ignored the 2 quadrillion years of me pressing y to go to youtube and instead autofills it to y/ which redirects to nowhere. It's driving me crazy. Also, there's no (X) at the right side of the autofill to remove it.

@tempuserc As said, you can try using Shift + Del.

I'm having an issue with Opera GX where I can't seem to make a custom search engine the default. I've added the search engine (You.com) to the list of available options, but when I try to set it as the default by clicking the "make default" button, it's blocked and won't let me do so. I'm not sure what the issue is or how to fix it, so I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and knows of a solution.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

@ggaroto As a simple search would have told you, only the pre-defined search engines can be set as default.

@titoxwww As said several times, those are processes and not opened pages. Use Shift + Esc or menu > developer> task manager to see the processes running in Opera.

@skajort Did you try disabling Force Dark Pages for the site as said? You can also try setting opera://flags/#enable-force-dark to Selective inversion of non-image elements if Force Dark Pages is enabled.

I used to use google search as a default search engine. At the "Search engines" tile there are only Yandex, Wikipedia and yandex translator. I added google at the bottom. But still can't set it as default. Screenshot 2023-02-11 170826.png and Screenshot 2023-02-11 170850.png
