Outlook Online - Keyboard Shortcuts

Opera isn't officially supported/validated by Microsoft for use with Microsoft 365 Online services, but I'd really like to nonetheless. The only issue I can't get past is as follows:
- Editing an email in Outlook Online
- Added bullet-point indented list to the email
- Try to use standard macOS keyboard shortcut for selecting a word (eg option-shift-left cursor key).
- The bullet gets unindented and the word doesn't get selected
This is not normal macOS behaviour.
Opera (or the Outlook Online web app) is intercepting that keystroke to turn it into an indent/unindent shortcut.
I have Outlook Online options set to "Turn off keyboard shortcuts" (which made no difference to this problem).
This problem doesn't occur in Chrome, Safari, Brave or Firefox when performing the same keystroke, on the same device, within the Microsoft 365 account and the very same Outlook Online draft email. So it is specific to Opera.
I can't find this keyboard shortcut in Opera's own keyboard shortcut settings, and I haven't configured anything non-standard in there of course.
The same problem doesn't occur in a Google Doc inside of Opera on the same device. Is this a bug with Opera and Outlook Online, or am I misunderstanding some "feature" here?
