What? Suddenly is myopera mail closed? They sent me no email to tell that they were going to close it! I have still a lot of important email and contacts in myopera email account!
Please give us the time to use again the email, save all the stuff and then you can close it if you decided so.

End of MyOpera and @myopera mail service with it was announced last summer. People had plenty of time to migrate.

They sent an email too about it. It was sent to your MyO accounts recovery email address. Personally I think it should have been sent to every @myopera.com account too just in case.

Opera mail did not close "suddenly". We've known since last October that it would be shut down and a sticky announcement was placed over top of the MyOpera Community informing us of Opera's intentions and giving us plenty of time to find other mail clients as well as offering suggestions.

What's going???!! I have many important things in my email!! How you do that?? No notification?!! I can't stay without my email! Please, return this service, all my things are conected with this email, and I will have big problems if I lose my opera mail. I can't believe that's it's going on, I have documents from my university there! Please...I REALY NEED MY EMAIL!! Check my mail back... I agree with dikeyes, give to us just some time to save the most important stuff that we have there...

You have to input "username@myopera.com" in the Username field. I don't know if there's any way to make a copy of all messages via webmail, but you can forward any important message to another e-mail address.

Do it before they block this possibility.

well its ok you shut down OPERA.COM But what about my mails. there is so many important mails I need it back

Authentication failed message.

Now that Opera mail is shut down I am getting the pop-up message “Authentication failed for” with my old Opera email address after it.

Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Using Opera's email client?

Opera > Mail and Chat Accounts > select the @myopera account > edit > Incoming tab > untick "check for new messages every #minute" and untick the next one too "include this account when checking manually".

Completly irresponsible finished myoipera mail withouth len know to user by email is offence ,I think.
I lost very important for me materials. Is the team of Opera socjety youngsters? Now I know abouth popularity of Opera.

I have the same problem as you !

I did not make a transfer to another email adress and now the page is closed. What can I do to get back my account or to transfer my mails after the closing ? Does anyone have an idea ?

I wrote on the wall of opera browser on facebook but they deleted my message ^^

The mail accounts do not exist anymore. They are deleted.
