If you manage to understand how its done, you can use AutoHotkey under certain circumstances.

Disabling the menu-show up when the alt key is pressed is not possible.
If this is possible and someone disabled it, they would leave people off from important menu items.
So, it is not going to .happen.
If you still want to do that, in superuser site, follow this link, /questions/309005/disable-the-activation-of-the-menu-bar-when-alt-is-pressed-in-windows-7

Chrome, Edge or Vivaldi, neither of them have this weird alt menu behaviour. The talk with leaving people off from important menu items is clearly not true. You allow customizing keyboard shortcuts, but Alt-shortcuts are very irritating to use because of this pop-up menu.

I join the question. I create a design on figma.com. There I use Alt very often. How to disable this key in Opera? BTW, the menu opens only with the "left Alt". If you use the "right Alt", the menu doesn't open. Maybe this information will be useful to someone.

This is so annoying. I usually tab out of games when i die or waiting for something and whenever i alt+tab out the freaking menu pops up and i have to close it to proceed my doing. Honestly developers should delete the alt button that opens menu, if i have to open it i can just click on the menu button. Its not that hard...
