[Solved]Pressing ctrl frequently deselects any selectedtext in the browser?

Its making it somewhat challenging to copy text from the browser. Wondering if anyone have any clues on what might be the culprit here, Im on Windows 11.

Interestingly, it doesnt happen on google.com

bump, am I really the only one experiencing this?

@leocg Its best shown in the video. Every time I press the ctrl key, any text I have selected in a browser webpage is deselected.

Make it very difficult to copy text as I have to use the right click menu

@officernickwilde I've watched the video and it means nothing for mean, you needed to provide a context for the images.

How is the behavior in other browsers?

@officernickwilde Just checked here and pressing Ctrl didn't have any impact on selected text.

Actually I just figured it out, it turns out to have been caused by a chrome extension I had installed "XTranslate".

Case solved
