So im the kind of person that tends to leave a lot of tabs open, instead of adding every page to a bookmark. So i will just leave tabs like articles, videos, memes ect that i want to visit later. When i say leave a lot of tabs i mean a lot (like in the 100's), but every now and then i encounter problems that ends up with opera casually wiping every single one of these tabs that i was interested in, leaving me with no options of ever getting them back again, which, putting it mildly is insanely infuriating, imagine if you lost literally all of your saved bookmarks, that dates long back.
So this time it happened i simply opened opera in incognito mode (which i do sometimes to save myself some cpu power by not having 400 tabs open), after which it tells me the browser has been updated, and when i then closed it later on and opened it normally everything was wiped, very pleasant... Is it an intended feature that opera wipes all of your ongoing tabs if it happens to auto-update and you open it in incognito as the first thing after the update?
Usually when i encounter this problem, it has to do with opera crashing and then tries to re-launch itself, only to again wipe hundreds of tabs i had open.
Is there no way whatsoever to recover lost sessions or somehow autosave sessions every 30 min. ect? Again losing all your "work" that you have been building up is extremely aggravating.
This is becoming an increasingly bigger annoyance, and im seriously considering finding a new browser, despite using opera for many years now.
