Opera to replace safari?

Hey Communiy,

I am using an iPhone 6 as i don't want to buy a new phone every year or two. I realized that often my safari browser doesn't open links or breaks down. Does anybody has experience with opera on a older iPhone?

Futhermore it would be nice if somebody can share his/her experience in terms of benefits compared to FireFox or Google Chrome on a Windows laptop as well

Opera is bringing its Opera Touch browser to iOS to challenge Apple's default Safari browser, within a new lineup of phones such as the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.
