Thanks for your reply.
@leocg why I can only see links url on the left bottom corner while hovering a cursor on it, but only on the Operas default New Tab site? While exploring any other websites hovering thing doesn't seem to work. Is it a bug or any option that can be turned On? -

@paxsu Sounds like some extension you have installed is interfering with the displaying of those tooltips.

@burnout426 Are you sure? That's weird because I just fresh installed the official Windows 11 last week (not updated) and so i decided to try Opera, it's also fresh install of course and without any additional plug-ins.
Any other idea why i can't see status bar popping out with full URL address while hovering my cursor on a link? Or what's could be wrong, or is it a browser bug?
Thanks for help

@paxsu Maybe the features is not enable or available in Opera Max or may have been disabled by default for you to find and enable it your self. Maybe it was removed from early update since it might had been seen as causing bugs, lagging, consumes data or clock CPU or doing more harms than good. I'm only suggesting, I'm not a PC or Laptop user but only an Android Smartphone user.

@paxsu Hmm, not sure. Just to double check that we're on the same page, if you goto https://forums.opera.com/ and hover over the "Opera for Windows" link you don't see
https://forums.opera.com/category/11/opera-for-windows
?If so, I don't know. Even if Opera is a fresh install, make a standalone installation to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop and test in it. It won't interfere with your regular Opera. Does it fail to show there too?

@burnout426 When I go to your link it still doesn't work. I have recorded a short clip of this issue.
While I was reading about standalone installation and went to opera://about for at do notes... I've got an update to the newest version of Opera FX, and the problem disappeared. Status bar is showing on every page now. I'm not really sure what was causing the problem or if has been fixed in last update, but I'm happy for it working now
Thanks for all the advices guys!

@paxsu There's nothing in the changelog explicitly mentioned for this issue. But, Opera GX jumped to a new major version of Chromium with this update, so it any one of a zillion changes in Chromium that fixed it. Either way, glad it's working now.

@paxsu and others interested in this: I found the same problem and was surprised, as hovering over links (to see the URL in the status bar at the bottom) had indeed worked in Opera for me, just moments before it stopped working. That's when I came searching for any solution and found this post, among others.
Here's a workaround that's worked for me: all I had to do was click on some text in the page (not a link, I mean) and then hit the tab key. Suddenly now hovering Did show the URL in the status bar, and of course tabbing to a link Also shows the URL.
While I can't figure out what makes it suddenly Stop working (sure, could be some extension, or could just be a bug), at least discovering this has allowed me to immediately see the URLs again, which is indeed important for safety sake. Hope that helps others.
