Does Opera follow Norway Privacy laws or chinese? can they send data to chinese government?

@anothermemberofsociety It's just a matter of put the brain to work, Opera is a Norwegian company and, therefore, has to follow Norwegian laws.

@anothermemberofsociety By the way, you shouldn't forget that Opera may also have to follow the laws of the countries where it has offices.

@leocg Oh i understand, but those apply to the respective countries? Because laws in norway are different from china or Poland, so which one would be applied here?

@anothermemberofsociety Yes, they are valid for and in those countries.

I mean, if an American company opens a branch in Indonesia, it has to follow American laws but also the Indonesian one for what happens in Indonesia.
